In reviewing the posts that you had been given infractions for, I have listed the explanations below for your reference.

• For the infraction you received on 9th April, points were issued because by asking people to share, you are encouraging the distribution of pornographic and/or indecent content.
• For the 2nd infraction you received on 10th April, points were issued because you did not raise your complaint in the appropriate section. There are stickies stating about this.

You have not been singled out. The moderators at EDMW have been issuing infractions for posts similar to yours.

Announcements and warnings have been issued out by bosssaizo regarding the sharing of such content since the authorities are investigating.

So if you willfully choose to ignore those and flout the rules, you really cannot blame the moderators for doing their jobs.

i'm sure dishing 3 points to every user posing anything remotely similar to "sic" (and another 3 for asking) is more effective than closing the thread!!

It's okay to discuss an issue without crossing the limit. Unless you're implying that unless we lock the thread, members will continue to flout the rules?

This is a forum, yes. A platform for discussion, yes. But there are rules to follow. This is not an adult content sharing platform. Asking to share such content is instigating someone else to commit the crime.

The moderators of EDMW are just doing their best at the jobs they have been asked to do. It's easy to criticize when it's not your work ethic that's being questioned.

You can always appeal for an infraction you feel is unwarranted but you should do it in the appropriate forums. But reversing the infraction is purely up to the administrators' discretion.
