Install existing window 10 to a new pc

Hello guys my current pc has a window 10 previous upgraded from Window 8.. Can I back up the window 10 to a USB drive and than install on my new pc?

You need a utility like Jellybean to extract Win 10 key from current PC to install on new setup. But may not able to activate.

to a usb ? hmm i do know some cloning utility that can clone form hdd to hdd/ssd or vice versa. this will save you the hassle of reinstalling win 8 and upgrade to win 10 again. via usb there are two commericial software that can meet your requirements(back to usb hdd)
easeus back/recovery and some new software aoimei backup .Acronis don't support usb cloning. google for cloning OS and you will get many vids and step by step tutorials

For a new pc, highly recommend to install a fresh copy of windows 10. Just make sure your previous windows 10 you login using Windows account. Do the same the fresh install and the key will be activated.

Download win10 from Microsoft media creation tool. Burn into a USb and den install using boot up on bios.

Download the windows 10 iso use rufus software and create bootable windows 10 installation usb drives. Install windows 10 fresh copy with it.

Windows 8 legit product key should work with windows 10 as well. When installing windows 10 if they prompt you enter cd key just enter your windows 8 cdkey will work and will be activated.

Install Windows10 as usual, when prompt to activate, key in the Windows8/8.1 key, it will work as long as the key is legit.

yes, i did that a couple of times, no issues

If you login windows using Microsoft account, there isn't even a need to key in your key. Just login to your Microsoft account on your fresh install and it will prompt you did you change your parts recently or something along that line. Just hit yes and windows will be activated.

Just make sure you skip keying your key during installation.

u have to call up to get the codes again. if not if u rmb which email u sign up with. it should comes with the codes as well.
