Installing Blue Ray Drive problem....

Hi Bro

I have bought a HP blue ray drive (internal) and installed it today. I bought Star Wars blue ray disc, so thought of getting the drive to watch it....

Installing hardware was easy, but took a pretty long time for the cyberlink software to load... and then, after a few hours.... it is done.... which I thought was very long... for non OS software installation...

Then, when I tried to watch the disc... it says it content are protected, and I need to use an analogue out put cable....

I am using a DVI connection, and was... shocked... so in the end.... it is a wasted effort....

My VGA have 2 dvi and I think no analogue output..... are there any ways for me to resolve this issue?

Something messed up liao bro, the Cyberlink PowerDVD program should not take so long to install.....hours? When I'd gotten my two LG BR ROM and one BR RW, installing software took seconds actually. I installed it in my oldest rig then, an AMD A64 X2 5200+ system + HD5770 (now on loan to my bro), physically installing it and installing software took much less than 5 minutes and I was able to watch BR movies right off the bat.

I don't watch BR movies on my three rigs, instead, I use some software to rip BR movies into MKV format so I can use VLC player to watch.

Yeah, don't make sense for the installation to take that long. Why don't u try to go Cyberlink's website and download a trial version of PowerDVD to check if its a software issue.

or try another cable...?
