Installing windows 7 with bootcamp

Just wondering if there are places that offer such services? im an IT idiot, scare i screw up the installation

Not too sure, but bootcamp installation is really easy, don't be scare of it man.

You can take a look at the bootcamp manual. Link below. Its not difficult and I'm sure you will be able to. You can post here while doing it if you need help.

sorry for digging up old thread but I am stuck with Win7 bootcamp installation... have went through whatever bootcamp guided but when done, the screen just startup with black screen and a blinking cursor... that's all

is the Win7 install disc still inside the optical drive? if so, power off your mac, hold down option when you power it on and select the install disc when the startup manager icon appears.

thanks for replying. Yes, disc is still inside and I boot it like you said into the disc but it will go through the windows setup again.... I still don't get to start my Windows

are u using external disc drive? i had problems with booting the windows disc from the disc drive too.. its caused by unsupported firmware of the drive..

what i did is, use disk utility in osx to convert the windows cd into iso format and use bootcamp to transfer it into a thumbdrive and install from there..

untitled probably is the name of your thumbdrive. as long as you see a BOOTCAMP inside finder under devices and there are contents inside that partition it should mean Win7 has been installed..

Oh wait I recall seeing 'untitled' in finder and windows files were inside. That means Win7 installation went through but the partition wasn't named Windows. Does this indicate any hint to my problem?

let's try booting up to untitled first and see if you can get in?

Hi bro. I followed another suggestion and managed to complete installation till the last part where it says finalizing but then suddenly it pops up a window saying 'setup is unable to complete. Please reinstall' was too fast for me to capture what it said. Anyway the message was too simple to provide any clue. Any idea what's happening? Gosh I'm so happy till the last part. Almost! Haha

let's erase the boot camp partition in boot camp assistant (inside OSX) and try again. when it prompts you to restart the computer and u get stuck at that black screen with blinking cursor, power off the computer and then turn it on, hold down the option key and boot to the Win7 install.

I tried water111 method and helped me complete the installation but right at the last part there's a sudden error message saying windows could not complete installation. Goes black and blinking cursor again.

Just saw another method online to delete ATI driver but can't work too because there isn't such file.

So now I have no more idea
