Instalment plans

Hi guys,

I'm planning to buy a new pc soon and wonder which shop at SLS has the best instalment plans? eg 0% interest,etc. I'm a student here and I don't have a lump sum I can pay up front, so my dad is helping me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about instalment plans if u are buying parts and building it.. I'm sure u will end up paying more than if u pay one lump sum...

Might as well ask your dad to pay for everything first then u repay him in instalment...

Cyber mind has it. I helped a friend with my card last year.

Was using DBS and it was interest free.. But I think they added 3 % processing fee

Seriously, u r still buying parts from them and most ships will charge u a bit of extra to build for u (around $10 to $20).. And because u r using CC, u will definitely pay more.

Good rig. Almost like mine. Lack ssd only. If you can drop the idea of using msi gfx. You could save some amount by geting the powercolor 7870 2gb pcs+ @ $290. Then probably get a ssd.

Could drop the idea of corsair cx600m. Get other modular psu.

So what i think it is possible.

If u pay by credit card, most shops won't give u cash discount and there is still processing fee.

Just pay full ask bank to break into installment for you. Need one time processing fee but u installment 12/24 months just close one eye play a few dollar more lor ~

Hmm, what other modular PSU fits in the Prodigy? I've got a budget to work with. About $1200. Haven't really heard positive stuff from the 7870 and esp Powercolour...

For a single GPU setup, Haswell 4570 is overkill.

It may be worthwhile to consider building a system from second-hand parts (except for the hard disk).

May I know what processor would you recommend then? Please back it up w some stats that it's overkill.

I'm going down either this weekend or the next. If possible, comment on build. Budget is 1.3k. Def going for the prodigy casing w 3 120mm fans and 1 240 at the front

How about updating what parts you are getting, and we can go from there... and it is a 230mm fan, bo 240mm fan.. unless u going for rad...

64GB SSD isnt enough, at most a 128gb.. can get the plextor M5S 128gb @$139...
if you wan modular, can get FSP 550W 80+ Platinum, 7 years or Seasonic M12ii 520W 80+ Bronze, 5 years

I think drop to 4430 would be better... 3 ghz vs 3.2ghz nt much diff.. throw that $19 somewhere else, like gpu...

for ram, can get value rams? if wan something good looking, den corsair vengence??

If got money just get the normal SSD. Rather than the mSata type. Cause the mobo Gigabyte H87N the slot is used up for the Wifi card. And not only that even if you were to take it out the chipset heatsink gets in the way and you are unable to install the mSata type.

GPU up to you ba. If you willing to pay that amount for a 7850 msi version you could have paid slightly lesser and a more powerful GPU by powercolor 7870 myst.

Yeah, I chose wrongly. I'll get the normal SSD, drop the processor to a 4430 and stick w the 7850.

I don't know why the powercolour is popular in Singapore, but I heard it heats up pretty fast. So, I don't wanna risk it. Rather get the twin frozr..
