ya that is exactly my point. As long as the linked card provides greater cashback/miles than the 2% Amaze mark up, still good to go. But if Amaze increase it further (lesser difference) when compared to bank's 3.25% then the advantages of using Amaze would be lesserYeah. I am using Amaze and Citi Rewards. And I am okay with +S$0.03 per 1 USD.
That is an equivalent to S$3.00 for US$100. The points I earned should be worth the “slightly higher” rates/spread.
How come youtrip better than the Mastercard rate
youtrip is using wallet. if you use Amaze wallet, its also the sameHow come youtrip better than the Mastercard rate
yesssssssssssssssssssssA question, if pair Amaze with Maybank F&F card, I can shop at H&M and it will fall under online fashion category?
Yeah, I want to know this too. Currently I am archiving the emails whenever it hits my email inbox.Anyone know how to stop receiving those transaction email? Getting annoyed by it because its flooding my inbox unnecessary...
Ye, it's dam irritating when you receive email for every transaction you made with the card... good initiative bad execution.Yeah, I want to know this too. Currently I am archiving the emails whenever it hits my email inbox.
i dont think its a debit card issue, even using credit cards for local grab transaction also yields the same issue when the driver cancels. In indo i used Gojek, they charged me twice but the first transaction was reversed so i didnt incur any lossesIs Amaze bad to use with Grab outside Singapore? Meaning Amaze + Singapore Mastercard in Thailand, Indonesia, etc.? Especially if you set Amaze by default to the wallet so payments do not go to the wrong card?
I think Grab is complicated with debit cards, and Amaze is actually a debit card. It charges the card but reverses the charge if no car is found. So the problem is, you can get a lot of small refunds that go back to Amaze, and either you get local currency in the wallet at a bad exchange rate or you get the refund sent to the wrong credit card and converted back to Singapore dollars at a bad rate.
Anyone have an idea which is the best card to use with Grab outside Singapore? I just thought I'll use the one with the best online reward and just eat the foreign exchange fee for small Grab payments.
Wah sian. Just when I am about to go big trip.UOB excludes AMAZE from Oct 1. Second bank after DBS to completely exclude AMAZE.

where’s the source anyway.
Looks like I have to keep my Trust card once all the banks starts to nerf the pairing with Amaze...Pairing Amaze with a cc was a good feature especially for large overseas spend.
Amaze will be out of biz soon. Good things doesn’t last.
