This feature has been around since the first few days of launch.

didn't probe further into the Manage button, only knew can block the card with 1 click as there's a Lock button

As well as disabling txns I also link the card to the Amaze wallet so there will be insufficient funds. It's a bit of a chore changing settings all the time but this card seems to have real problems with fraud.

To be extra safe, I also made my Instarem app password a bit more complicated, as I certainly dont want pple to hack into the instarem app, and change all my lock setting.

Thinking like a risk manager on what could go wrong.........LOL

Immediately I blocked Online Txn & Cross Border Txn for now..

Raised the matter via support chat.. Same old BS...

But I took the liberty to email and contact Uber immediately pertaining to this matter.. Shall see how it goes.. zzzz

Personally, I feel disabling online and cross-border transactions should be sufficient.......not sure also.

wow how does it happen in the first place. Think cashback is the only way to add credit to the Amaze wallet.

Take bus/mrt with simplygo using linked card, then switch back to wallet. After 5 days or hit $15, amount will reflect in wallet instead of card.

I feel your pain on the $6k, definitely a large sum..

Will definitely dispute the hell out of it..

After disabling cross-border & online transaction, roughly 2 hours later, another 3 similar attempts was made on my card AGAIN but luckily, I only enabled instore transactions for now..

Going to get my Amaze card replaced indefinitely... But what continues to puzzle me, is how the hell did they get hold of the full details including my CVV...

Noticed further changes for qualifying transaction are stated in the T&Cs:

You may be eligible for cashback on quarterly basis. You may be eligible for (a) 0.5% cashback [previously 1%] on each transaction processed by us under the Amaze Card in SGD and (b) 1% cashback on each transaction processed by us under the Amaze Card in any foreign currency on a quarterly basis if all the following conditions have been satisfied:
(a) the total amount you spent on your Amaze Card for that quarter equals to at least SGD1,500 [previously SGD500] (or currency equivalent);
...
(c) the transaction amount is at least SGD10 [previously SGD5] (or currency equivalent);
...

minimum transaction amount is 10 Sing and 50 dollar per quarter max payout. Is there still a zero foreign transaction fee? And still no markup on the mastercard wholesale rate?
