both very good rates ... using MasterCard site, the rate on 28 Apr was 3.1318 and on 7 Apr was 3.1486

xe.com was also about 3.14-3.15

just last week, there was a wider disparity ( YouTrip/Amaze vs XE ) for my transactions

well in the first place dbs cards not so good for overseas spend unless online. Amaze help boost their use of dbs wwmc.

It'll still be useful to save on foreign exchange fees...easy decision to toss the card away if you only spend SGD (assuming all banks exclude *amaze) but I transact mostly in foreign spend both online and offline so a bit on the fence

I prefer the prepaid aspect actually in case card get stolen or compromised.

One more good things about Amaze is, its not a prepaid/top up account like youtrip.

Youtrip is good is when the rates are good, one can stock up the currency. example jap yen is very good rates now, and still cannot go japan yet, so stock up on yen first.
