Can anyone explain the below clause:

*Covers critical illnesses that are not the same or related to the first critical illness claim and not vascular related illnesses where the first critical illness was also a vascular related illness. Vascular related illness refers to Coronary Artery By-Pass Surgery, Heart Attack, Heart Valve Surgery, Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, Surgery to Aorta and Stroke (including paralysis as a result of cerebrovascular incident).

So heart related problems are not covered?

is this for early ci which covers multiple ci?

exclusion is that there will not be payout for similar type of ci, may be grouped by the insurer.

With the CI Recovery Benefit option, you’re provided with an extended CI benefit covering a second CI event. This means you are entitled to claim under a second CI * even if you had already made your first CI claim.

A plan that covers 2nd CI.

For example, first CI is blindness then cancer. claim twice.
first CI is lung cancer then stomach cancer. cannot claim for 2nd time.

and lastly, not vascular related illnesses where the first critical illness was also a vascular related illness.
they have grouped it together for us.

so if one is healthy and buy and kenna your qn, heart related. there will be a payout, but 2nd payout cannot be releated to these again. if kenna cancer thereafter, can payout.

concept is good, but let's look at the odds of first CI then second CI. if the premium is same as those covering 1 CI, this will be good. else, stick to 1 will do.
