any pro can advise if buying of insurance (etc those normal health plan or those using cpf to pay for type) do we need to give our insurance agent our sing pass etc??

because with that detail they can access some detail (etc pay all that)..

pls advise me. many thanks

Singpass should not be given to anyone. At most also cpf contribution statements for loan / cc application. For insurance, financial consultants shouldn't ask u for that.

Did someone ask u for it??

maybe they wanna check if you have any private medical shield plan, or any eldershield....blabla

You don't need to provide your singpass, my guess is the agent want to check your CPF accounts, maybe on your medisave account. Depending on your age and if you are working for a few years, you should not have any issues because below age 30 is like $200-$300 per year.

My guess is the agent wants to check your CPF OA, to see whether you have money for investment, if yes, then likely he/she will talk about it to you.
