Over the years many of us have accumulated numerous policies. Some with cash value and some not. These portfolio may significantly contribute to one'e own net worth. Lets list our insurance portfolio.

AIA Life policy 125K 100/mth
Manulife Endowment 15years 200/mth
AIA hospitalisation 500/year
Aviva Group CI and ECI 100k
AIG Accident 200/year

Previously I remembered someone here complained about Manulife.

Anyway, endowments are bad. Have to commit fully, mainly hit breakeven in the final year of endowment period (or somewhere around there), and the returns aren't that fantastic.

Also, past performance does not correlate to future performance imo

My policies were bought in my 20s and 30s

Premium about S$550 per mth

Covered for death about S$700k I think combined
Covered for partial disability for S$350k for 5 years
Covered for TPD and CI a few hundred k
Endowment plans payout projected about S$70k only

I prob need to see a financial planner to better plan my insurance.

Because yours is term with no surrender value whereas mine has and can switch to annuity at 65 years old.

If I am not wrong, only NTUU vivolife only allows that right ?

My ILP is GE covers till 65 years old and Whole life or living policy is NTUC. I believe the annuity part is for both or at least NTUC.

I am not good with shares investment on my own, so rather let them , the insurance company, invest for me.

Still seem abit much for $550 per month for the coverage you listed.

Actually, share investment is really not as tough as what many have said. Just investing into ETF alone is pretty much a no brainer.

When one is blind folded, even walking on a clear field may come as a challenge.
