Hi,

I require a harddrive for use with both a mac and a pc. Any recommendations for a harddrive (1-4TB) that's interchangeable between the 2 systems without formatting?

I'm only aware of the Seagate Backup range that allows this.

Able to purchase locally or from USA.

TIA

Another option is a NAS connected to router, both Mac and Win machines can access.

Doesn't Mac have those NTFS applications? You can simply use them and not worry about the HDD choice.

Ah is it? I actually read about that online but didn't really understand properly. I'll probably get a WD or Tuoro since they're pretty cheap.

Formatting it to exfat is your solution but do take note the transfer speed will be limited tho =x actually quite slow for big files

Really appreciate all the suggestions. I may go for the paragon ntfs option. I'll probably get the western digital passport.

Thanks again.
