Interested in IT networking and System Administration

Hi,
I'm 45years old this year and I'm very keen to take up Express IT at Lithan ( I have no prior experience and knowledge in IT and have only N level) But I am not sure if the certificate is recognize in Singapore companies? I have a great passion in IT though. Any advice?
