International SMS Not Arriving on SIMBA SIM IPhone - from State Bank of India

Hi,

I am based in Singapore and have just moved to SIMBA from Starhub. I can get SMS from Yahoo, Google, Singapore phones, Overseas phones onto my SIMBA SIM .....Only my overseas Bank SMS from State Bank of India in India DOES NOT finally arrive - which used to arrive earlier on my Starhub contract - with same phone number ( ( Tested this both on IPHONE 16 pro Max or On Iphone 7 )

Cannot get International SMS from State Bank of India on SIMBA SIM IPhone - from State Bank of India. Moved from Starhub to SIMBA this week and I face this challenge. Singapore to Singapore SMS across service providers to the SIMBA phone works. Even had someone send a SMS from India on their phone and that arrived successfully. But just cannot get the SMS from State Bank of India for a super critical transaction - no matter how many times I try with LTE setup done - with VOLTE turned on - with Signal at 4 bars.

a. Do some banks use a different technology for SMS that it cannot arrive into SIMBA carrier network. Anyone has any ideas ?
b. Has anyone successfully received State Bank of India OTP on their Singapore SIMBA phone ?

Line, budget until SIMBA. Hmm, Cool Story Bro.

There are many other MVNOs out there not on SIMBA's network that have $8-10 plans. There's no reason to choose the slowest telco as your main line. And when you brag you have a $2000 phone, your options don't make sense.

Since other otp still come as per normal. It doesn't seem to be issue with simba. Please check with your bank.

Is this problem solved? same here didn't get otp verification message from phonepe app,

in the simba package also mentioned 100 local messages.

Give it a few days. My wife could not receive OTP from Microsoft after porting it in. It took about 1 week. for it to work.

If there's more reports from users unable to receive SMS from SBI on SIMBA, then might be SIMBA issue (not accounting for the device/SIMBA account status etc. variable). Otherwise, might then be SBI's technicial issue.

Only with more reports/sharings will be able to guess whose issue it might possibly be.
