When you see your token with 'bATT X' it means the battery is left with X months. Time to contact the bank for a replacement. It is FOC (for now).

Besides bank, Singpass One Key could face a similar problem, and replacement unit cost $15.

wanted to share my experience as all my bank tokens kaput at same time:

DBS - called to get replacement. Sent within 5 working days to local address. Token must be activated within specific number of days. No fee

CitiBank - called to get replacement. Sent within 5 working days to local address. Token activation not restricted to specific number of days. No fee

OCBC - called to get replacement. Sent within 5 working days to local address. Token activation not restricted to specific number of days. No fee

UOB - called to get replacement but procedure is to go to branch return current token and complete a form, so as not to incur a fee (if not SGD20). Sent within 5 working days to local address (they also offered to send to overseas address and postage borne by them. Token activation not restricted to specific number of days

HSBC - called to get replacement. Can choose to go to branch to collect (faster option) or post to local address.

Yes, it is sufficient. But slightly inconvenient if you travel frequently.

understand.
i mean its not like bank tokens that have more functions like adding payee, transferree, change various limits that need the additional signing functions right?

from my experience, you still need the token for certain functions as you mentioned. Maybe only CitiBank services, they can use OTP only.

If you have RHB accounts, they are using ONEPASS token (which you can use for SingPass as well). As such, you will need to get one if you intend to add Funds Transfer payee, etc.

For Maybank, you can get the Token on the spot at the Branch. Bring the existing token to avoid paying the replacement fee.
