not value for money. 1660 super offers most of the performance of 1660 ti for a lot less money. 1650 super is also the absolute bare minimum to get today.

if 1660ti price bracket within your budget ($400~$500), i suggest you to considered 2060 6GB ($400~$500) with RTX+DLSS first generation feature and more powerful at same price range as many promotion now in SLS.

Suggest u to buy a used GPU, your usage is very light. 1060 6GB, 1070/ti, 1660 super. No brand new card is worth it or instock at the moment.

If budget 500+, get 3060 better for 100 more. If not, get used 1660super

That 100$ more is like 50% more fps and features like dlss

Is the system in your spec list still the same? It's pretty much identical to my current build. I just changed to a 2nd hand 1080 to extend the shelf life a bit more but planning to build a new rig by middle to end of next year.

If still the same specs, get a cheap 2nd hand card to upgrade from 970. Honestly, you can just buy another 970 if really tight on budget because it's still a good performing card.

1. Current pricing from $240~$300

2. As per most youtube video show yes for 1080p above 120fps

Surely can get 120fps with 1650 super 1080p with mid settings.

Youtube does have some videos that show high/mid/low settings for valorant.
