Does it mean that I have to create 2 separate icons per contact? 1 for call and the other for sms? Lidat, I must group them in separate pages to prevent confusion.

Yes, there will be 2 separate icon if you create 1 for SMS and 1 for dialing.
The SMS icon will have a small envelope on the bottom right corner

Just tried both SMS and Dial feature! Works well! Had to wait for a while before the contact pic shows up when adding the shortcut to homescreen. Thanx to developer for creating this function which i missed from my Android phone. Now if only iphone's keypad has word prediction, that'll be perfect.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if your Quick Dialer icons are not on your opening home screen, it defeats the purpose altogether, cos it means u have to do multiple actions to dial/SMS.
- slide to unlock
- slide page/pages to find right icon
- tap to call/SMS.
Actually i find the biggest benefit of this app is NOT speed, but helping old people. i have set the icons for my mum's iphone so she just has to find the person's pix to call/SMS. Much friendlier interface than tapping phone and/or searching contacts.

Hi Kenzone, you can also use spotlight to search for the icon.
From there, when u tap the searched icon, it will dial too!

I just tried the app, unfortunately I feel disappointed and I have encountered a few problems.

First in the app, I added my wife's name and I selected her mobile number from the select from contact link. It kept giving me her home number instead. I have to manually typed in her mobile number. After selecting the photo etc, the app was created but the photo was so so small. The app showed not just the photo, it was showed the last page of the app creation page.

Next is worse, I tried creating app for my other friends. The moment I chose their mobile from the select from contact link, the program terminated and I would be back to the home screen. I have tried many times with different contacts and I even off and on my iPhone but the problem persisted.

Please advise.

Hi Jimmy,
At the screen after you click Add To Home Screen Button, please wait for a while. Only Click the Add button on the top right hand corner after the image is loaded. The speed that the image load depends on the network connectivity at the moment.

As for the problem with your wife's contact, I had simulated with my wife's contact which has 2 contact and is not able to simulate it. Maybe you can PM me more details if it is private matters to you. I am not able to simulate the issuewith your friends as well which I find it weird.
