I would advise to wait further. A more stable gamma released is planned for 27-Dec.

Anyway, current beta release doesn't have mobile substrate support yet, so not much tweak can be activated.

Dont think you should upgrade to 10.2 if you wanna jb.

The exploit is patched in 10.2 and its beta after.

Some reports saying this will be the jb for a very longgg time.

I read that the current JB is semi untethered. If I have to reboot my phone, do I need to redo all the JB steps or can I just start some app and all the JB features will come back?

The main concern is not whether tether or semi tether; is because the sign in is ussing own apple account; which most of us do not have developer account and thus every 7 days has to re jailbreak instead of every year for developer account sign in.

What happens after 7 days if you don't JB again? The phone automatically reverts back to stock condition or JB features appear there but don't work? When my ip6+ was on iOS 8 and JB'd, I mostly use the custom control center and YouTube offline download app. As long as the main function of the phone don't go bonkers when I don't reJB after 7 days, I'm willing to give it a try.

After 7 days or each time you reboot, you will lose your jb although Cydia still remain there. Just tap the Mach icon and you will get your jb back.

I see, thanks for the tip. I'll wait and see when the beta goes to stable release.

Forgot about the rumored 10.2 jailbreak. If you are in 10.1.1, use Yalu jailbreak tool. Works fine for me so far.

10.1 JB still in beta. Apple already patched the exploit in iOS 10.2
So answer is No
