hmm it looks different now in iOS 11. maybe u shud just try a reset all settings or restore again from backup. it shud reindex again...

Yea checked alr. No apps is using the location. Went to mac rumours forum and take a look and quite a few of them has this issue as well.. wonder what could be the issue

I solved the problem. Yes the weather app is geo fencing sticky. I bet you also have a Apple Watch, wear your watch and open the weather app from your watch and it will unstick the geo fencing arrow.

No I do not have apple watch. I soft reset my phone a few times before it's finally gone for good now. Until now I still do not have any idea what causes it. My weather app seems fine though

Managed to restore for my IP8 Plus (iOS11) through icloud last updated from my IP7 Plus (iOS10.3.3) and it managed to restore all my apps/data/position direct mirror from my IP7 Plus except those add-on music & video clip missing. Whole restore was faster than through iTunes.

since the update my iphone 5s battery drop to 30% after half a day...

normally the battery level should be around 60%

how long will the background processes continue after update?

My IP8 Plus everything was fine, don't face the issue which you mentioned.

Maybe will try out and update my wife's IP7 Plus.

Did you buy it shortly after launch?

If so, it has held up very well

How long have you used this 5s?

So far iPhone6+ bought since launch is still working ok

But don’t intend to install iOS 11 becoz parent using, any changes they will nag nag nag

bought it 2nd hand about 3 years ago, just to test some apps...

end up using it long term, because windows phone got abandoned by microsoft...

I also encountered home screen freeze twice since i updated, can't replicate it.

But could it be due to app compatibility? 1 example, when using carousell, i click home button and it goes back to the folder the app was in, normally if you tap outside the folder, it will close the folder. But for carousell, no response if i do that. I have to click home button again to close the folder

But does your home screen froze? Mine occurs only for folder icons and only if I 3D Touch the folder. Usually the 3D Touch will prompt us to rename the folder. But if I go ahead and select the folder when it’s still in 3D Touch mode, which opens into the various apps inside, I get the home screen freezing when I press the home button. It’s reprodicible and it isn’t app specific.

Battery drain super fast

Went play with a demo ip8 and did a reboot and it can't even power up even I press power up jahah real Gg

Ios 11 need to work on it much more to make it more stable even I try the demo ip8+ the animation looks choppy or it's a Lemon set hahahhah

Health App updating is slower

those who are using the health app to monitor your daily steps, anybody noticed that the updating takes longer now? last time, your steps data roughly updates every 5 min, now it looks like it takes more than 10 min to update.
