iOS 11 currently has a bug which resulted in poor battery performance, hope it will be fixed soon.

Updated on iPhone6S+ that was running the latest 10.3.3

Wi-Fi download

Install immediately yesterday early morning

Everything went smoothly

After install, everything still working

BUT

Late last night, download and install on newer iPhone7+ took a long time

It was also already on latest 10.3.3

Not sure why but assumed it was the internet traffic that caused downloading time to drag

So went to test connection download time using app test

End up for the 1st time ever, download was able to hit more than 100MB? which never happen before, at most was 50+MB

anyway, both phone all done now

And both iPhone running smoothly

I could not go past one day without charging when I was on 10.3.3 but after updating to iOS 11 I’m left with still 34% now.

My batt life was extremely poor on 10.3.3 but not sure if now is just temp till it stabilise

I thought that after major update it be gd to do a soft reset. Will it affect my phone re indexing and cache after I soft reset it after installing iOS 11?

Should I redo again in iTunes? Thks

Spotlight search doesn’t work as per before.
Previously, when I type dbs for example, the dbs sg app will appear. Now, I have to type fully dbs sg then the app will appear.. certainly not user friendly enough..

Instead the Control Center options simply disconnect any accessories apart from the Apple Watch and the Apple Pencil, so that those first-party products and some iOS functions —namely AirDrop, AirPlay, Continuity, Instant Hotspot, and Location Services —will continue to work.

For people that have multiple Apple products that support these features, this setting is great. In fact, I love the change as these wireless features now work as expected. It was really wonky prior to iOS 11.

However, for people that only own one compatible Apple device, I can definitely understand their disappointment as it's rather pointless.

I guess people will get used to it over time. I used to think that leaving Bluetooth or wifi on will take up a fair amount of battery, but that's really not the case. It did take a while for me to get over it (in iOS 11 betas) but now I'm loving this change a lot.

don’t need, force touch can switch from WiFi search to WiFi off

can meh.

i do 3D Touch, WiFi Searching -> Not Connected.

Go into settings, still show WiFi - Not Connected
