hows the multi task?

i read no need to long press to see the crosses now. jus swipe up can le :o

Multitasking has been good. Expected to have laggyness on a beta, but so far there isn’t.

It’s weird how I (or maybe, we) got used to swiping up on pre-iPhone X models and then having to learn again the new gesture of closing apps on the iPhone X on iOS 11.

And now on iOS 12, I’m learning again to close apps just by swiping up though sometimes I would still do the same like on iOS 11.

Anybody experiencing this?

Updated to iOS 12 last night and haven’t been able to see my battery usage.

Use your phone more. You will see it soon.

any issues bank apps? so tempted to update as driver but doubt on some apps.

I am already on iOS 12 on my daily driver. I really like it. Bugs and issues are exepected but so far everything lives up to my expectation.

Installed iOS 12 on the iPhone 5s. Just my initial thoughts and feel that iOS 12 really works great. Pretty smooth too as compared to iOS 11.

IOS 11 is considered slow for me on 5s. Is it faster than 11 and as fast as 10?

I never used beta before. Once it goes gold, can just update or need to DFU the whole thing?

I haven’t gotten or used a iPhone 5s on iOS 10 full time, but just based on comparison, the UI animation and feel, is much more smooth on iOS 12. Or maybe just as smooth as iOS 10 than iOS 11.

You can download the OTA profile and update it. (And of course, backup and archive it first)

Do understand that this is a developer update. It is not meant for your average usage. It can screw up at any point of time. Watch os 5 has already bricked a few watches and the updates pulled.

Our banking apps is acting flakey already on my end after a few days.

Shortcuts is not entirely within this build and app notifications grouping has caused a few UI issues that requires to clear all

Too much apps incompatibility issues. Wait for public beta.

iOS12 beta1 is pretty stable. Probably way more stable than Android releases.

Couple of minor issues:
1. FaceTime a Video on iPad Pro is broken
2. Straits Times App is crashing on IPhone X
3. Skype is crashing at startup

Highly recommend to update!
