Iirc I read somewhere that by right app dev should not let be releasing patches for beta os.

But a lot of app does it and hide it as an app update.

Yeah cause DP are previews and things can change in the background after each DP update so updating apps at this point can be a waste of time

Tried searching for it? Might have slipped itself into a folder.

should be only have on ip X. If im not wrong, requires AR kit.

ARKit comes to all device.
According to Apple, in order to use ARKit, iOS devices need to have an A9, A10 or A11 chip beating at their heart. While certainly not all iPhones or iPads in out there will meet that criteria, there should be plenty of people for which ARKit development will prove worthwhile.

The devices that use A9, A10 and A11 chips are:

iPhone 6s and 6s Plus
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
iPhone SE
iPad Pro (9.7, 10.5 or 12.9) – both first-gen and 2nd-gen
iPad (2017)
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
iPhone X

Oh yea, I have read somewhere regarding some bugs in iOS 12 and indeed, it is a ‘known’ bug for the Measure app to ‘disappear’ or can’t be found and only to know that it hides in some folder, similar to yours.
