it used to work before i updated to ios14.

i tot is dbs problem, but i took out my sim card, put in another phone (android)

it works seamlessly. but put back to my iphone with ios14. it doesnt work at all.

For those who are interested in having higher systemwide security for DNS, some unofficial mobileconfig files for the various open DoH/DoT operators have been written by enthusiasts.

They are plain text files, so you are able to review them first before installing them. Got that link from Reddit. I use the profile with all options so I don't have to add multiple options.

After installing the Profile, go to Settings -> General -> VPN & Network -> DNS to choose whichever provider you prefer.

I'm surprised at the poor implementation from Apple, so let's hope it's a more accessible configuration option in future. But knowing Tim Cook's direction, I'm not sure if this will ever be the case.

I was still finding where is the option to allow private DNS, because on Android it’s under network, private DNS, once type in DNS it auto affect cellular and WiFi as simple as that. Hope Apple in future update the network section natively instead of using Profile.
