For banking apps, that request don't seemed to be normal.

"Anytime an app needs to access devices on your local network, it must now ask for permission.

Sometimes, apps have valid reasons for accessing devices on your network, namely in order to function. If you have Sonos speakers, for example, the Spotify app won’t see them unless you allow the app to access your local network. The same goes for devices such as a Chromecast and for most smart-home-related apps. In these cases, you should approve the request.

But other apps have no justification to access this type of information. For example, my banking app asked for it, for some reason, and so does Facebook. If you can’t imagine why an app would need this permission, don’t allow it.

If you change your mind about the network access permissions you’ve granted or denied an app—if you notice that your app is missing a feature, for example—you can always go back and change the setting later. Just head to Settings > Privacy > Local Network."

The only use I found out is to cast to TV.
Banking apps, I never give permission, so far works as I wanted

Can I check when I go into my phone app, selected 1 of my contact, there are 3 box button with messages, call and video. I tried to dial the call logo button box but was unresponsive, certain of my contact unable to dial but some can, any 1 ?

So far my favourite features of iOS 14 are the widgets.
Fugging love it.
App Library too, cleared off a chunk of unused apps and folders on the Home Screen. Haha

Only using Google Photos on my main screen. Weather, battery, news, screen time, SafeEntry and a sneaker drop widget in the Today view. Devs aren’t making great use of widgets but it’s early days yet.

Shortcuts are a nice idea, but having the actual Shortcut screen pop up before you run anything is an eyesore. Prolly not going to mess with it.

Yep... my entire Home Screen is widgets.
Siri suggestion will suggest the apps for me.
It has been rather accurate for me most of the time.

Then I have Apollo, photos and Things/Fantastical stack showing me the tasks and events as I get through my day.

It’s game changing for me.
Have the Investing.com widgets on for monitoring of indices, futures and Several stocks.

The safe entry widget too. ******* useful lol

But need change to the TraceTogether soon... hope can get the physical token soon.
