Apple released iOS 14.6 RC build (18F71) This build number will be the same as public release. Public release imminent.
This build fixes the reduced performance during start up

as of iOS 14.2, Apple no longer releases GM builds, only release candidates (RC)
If you're not on the beta builds, I think waiting out for the public release saves more time as there are occasions where the RC get updates prior to the final public release.

Can I check, 1 of my device currently updated to iOS 14.6 RC 1 and Ieft the beta program. As apple released RC 2, will this device still received the public release??

Will receive the prompt to update to iOS 14.6 official public release, because apparently there's RC2 which is a different version.

If same version, I think no update, meaning your current beta version = normal release.

Supposedly it will since the build number is different. Thou I can’t say for sure 100% because I once had a very weird bug with beta which caused another issue and I had to enrol back and continue till then next release to exit again

apple just released iOS 14.6 to the public. iOS 14.6 public release is the same build as iOS 14.6 RC2. If you have RC2, you just had the update early. If you have iOS 14.7 Beta 1 you will not have the update as it is an older version by zollotech
