iOS 6.13 Backup to future iOS 7 device?

Hi, I am thinking of selling off my iPhone and iPad Mini now and maybe getting the 5S and iPad 5th Gen when they are launched. I am just wondering if the current backup is iOS 6.13, when the new devices are out with iOS 7, can I still do a restore from the 6.13 backup?
