guys, anyone realised that regardless of what wallpaper you set, the colour scheme changes?
for example a blue wallpaper after being set becomes gray..
what's going on?

You did turn on "darken colors" right?

I turned it on and the wallpapers become grey but once I turned it off it becomes color again.

hmm I can't find the option for darken colours..
I don't know where to find it now, but it sure sounds familiar

Settings > general > accessibility > increase contrast

yep, there are a few options inside increase contrast.

quite easy to find.
