iOS 7 lag on iPhone 4?

I'm pretty hesitant about upgrading to the iOS7 on my iPhone 4 as I heard it will lag on the older generation iPhones. Is this true? Any first hand experiences?

if really u r type of person who is fussy
then dont upgrade until u willing to upgrade to 5s
if u really want to upgrade do a clean swipe
and install clean

My friend is using iOS 7 on the 4. Animations are somewhat choppy (based on my exp on his phone running 7.0.2) but you can disable that now in the latest update.

Performance wise, I don't see much problem. Just don't expect it to be as pretty as on newer hardware. iPhone 4 doesn't support parallax and translucency for example.

iOS 7 does improve on certain benchmarks btw, although the actual impact on the usage itself dosen't seem very noticeable.

Yup there is a tinny winny bitty of lags on ip4. Some able to sense the laggy-ness, some don't.

My daughter's iphone 4 runs on ios 7.0.3 quite comfortably.
You may have to reduce animations so that the lag is not so noticeable.
Considering that it is a 3 year old hardware, it isn't bad at all to be able to run the os version that is build to run on A7 64 bit iphone 5s
