i have learnt my lesson to hold off every new ios update. ever since i switched to iphone and updated from 4 to 5 and so on, every new ios has its own fair share of bugs and other nonsense

let the mass guinea pigs go try first then later install the subsequent patches

You do know that there was a public beta right and mass Guinea pig like you term those tester have already tested and installed unlike previous iteration where there was only developer beta.
