Depends on team composition. For example, warriors.

Leon is great unit. Put him into any team he will do well.

However, when using a pure physical team, Susanoo will surpass Leon thanks to his passive.

I promoted my archer and got Hanzo. His stats feel really weak compared to Giparang. Should I attempt to level another Archer and reroll?

Hanzo and Giparang was S tier for awhile, then hikari took that honor. Hanzo specialize at 1block spam giparang do 3block combos

Cleric is good for standard team. Like when you don't have an OP unit to "solo" like Archon/Lilith/Hikari etc. One melee (Warrior/Paladin), one cleric, one DPS (Archer/Hunter/Mage). Can use to progress until you have units to make a decent healer-less team.

So I caved and bought gems. Bought the 55+6 option ($38). I had 22 gems saved as well. Total of 83. Spent 3 on expanding my hero inventory.

Use premium contract archer. Was aiming for Hikari. Got a 2*, then the next discounted summon gave me 4* Hikari! Left with 69.

At this point I'm not too familiar with how the rng is so I went to try the wizard option. First 4 were "trash". Meaning 2*/3*. Had 49 gems remaining. Decided to continue. Next was Rachel, followed by Alice. An exclusive unit! But I was really aiming for Lilith, or Archon at least. Got trash for 2 summons, then 2 Archons in a row.

Now I had 19 gems. Decided to continue, and I got 1 trash, then finally 4* Lilith!

Pretty decent if you ask me! Or maybe just lucky.

6x 4* units, including 3x exclusive units, and 8x trash units. For 71 gems. Quite happy with the results. 2x Archon is silly and probably OP.

Started during the xmas week so quite lucky got all the xmas mons.

Leveled 2 archers before. 1 was hanzo another was robinhood. decided to return robinhood but only got back a measly 100+ honour. Heart pain ttm.

At first was damn excited about my Thor then realise he isn't that great

Quite sian about my korin also.

Think gonna focus on the 4 other mons.
