If you can charge the phone to full 75% capacity at will using office/home/car/power bank, can continue using it.

But if you can sell it taking into consideration a discount due to the battery health, that too is an option.

And yes, use this phone as a backup or second phone to receive SMS 2FA if you wish.

It’s a question only you can answer based on the current state of your phone. If it’s working and you’re not lacking any features that make it worthwhile to upgrade, then just replace the battery and slap on a new case and it’ll look as good as new.

Change 12PM battery last year. No data loss.

But they will not responsible if there is data lost due to whatever reason.

so backup your data will be better

is tt such a thing, even with new batt, the electronics in device will still slow down gradually overtime

Yes. Most of us will feel a difference in experience but the speed still acceptable if using basic app like WhatsApp, WeChat, TikTok, 小红书, etc

for heavy gaming, likely can feel some difference but still acceptable. I have XS max and said based on this XS experience

Depends on application and his usage after upgrade. For simple tasks, iPhone works pretty well

Of course, surely you understand the concept of wear and tear?
