Usually this is a case of loose connector. Can try to open yourself if you have the screw devices

Actually if that’s the case can bring to apple for a diagnosis.

and if they need to open up to check to provide a quote, you can always say you don’t want to proceed.

then they will close it back up and return to you and maybe it gets fixed because of this procedure

I fixed one before on my own.

since out of warranty, might as well try on your own unless the shop can do on the spot while you see them fix it in front of you
