Actually if that’s the case can bring to apple for a diagnosis.
and if they need to open up to check to provide a quote, you can always say you don’t want to proceed.
then they will close it back up and return to you and maybe it gets fixed because of this procedure
This exact same thing happened to my mum's iPhone 13 Pro. Phone was working all along, then suddenly the screen starts flickering then permanently showing this glitchy green screen. and you cant see whats on it.
Brought it to Apple Orchard with an appointment. the rep said they were aware of this problem but it will cost around $400 to replace the display (applecare expired). Decided not to do it. Brought it home and managed to connect it to my mac to mirror the screen via Lightning cable to QuickTime. (You need to get the iPhone and the Mac to trust each other then it can work. Got it connected to wifi. Then the screen miraculously healed itself. Saved $400. Hope the screen doesnt act up again. Very annoyed by Apple. They obviously know of this widespread issue, yet they do not start a servicing program.
