IP6S, IP7 or new iphone?

Hi guys, need some advice.

My plan is up in April. currently using 6. IP7 Matt Black is killing me slowly inside but the lack of earphone jacks is a major turn off, so i am contemplating getting a 6S instead or should i just wait for the new iphone release at the end of this year?

Anyone else in the same boat?

Not like the new iPhone will bring back the earphone jack so that is out of the equation.

To be honest I'm not sure why so many are creating such a big fuss over the jack, just a simple adapter, doesn't affect me at all.

I would say can consider buying a set from ppl who recontract to sell, as it's going for below RRP now.

Then maybe when the new one is out you can recontract to sell the newer one or upgrade by selling your 7.

You want the headphone jack then get the iPhone 6s. Waiting for the new iPhone will not bring back the jack as what charleslin has mentioned and the new iPhone will cost you an arm and a leg.

Just 2 weeks ago, I was same as you. Using a 6 that is giving me some issues but I don't want a 7. The difference is that I'm on a no-contract plan, so I can buy 2nd hand phone. Easier to make a decision.

I eventually bought a used 6S+ for about half the price of a 7+. Still very fast, looks as good as new. I intend to sell it away when the 8 arrives, probably lose $200-$300 of the value. Seems worth it for a year or so of use.

If I were you I wouldn't buy a new 6S because the resale value is not there. Maybe you can get a new Ip7, sell it and buy a 2nd hand 6S.

I still using my 6S although I have 7.

Have been using ip6S plus for a year plus.. now contract up for renewal, I have 2 option

1. Renew line now and take 7plus
2. Hold on to 6s plus and wait for ip8

Just to ask, any changes if I did not renew my contract? Will there be any changes to the price?

Side note think ip8 gg to be very costly .. don't think I want to spend nearly 2k for a phone.

It's fine to hold on to the plan.
Consider getting a SIM only plan if you don't want re-contract.

same situation as you TS. I intend to recontract iPhone 7 and sell it. Meanwhile wait for iPhone X/8 launch and sell my current iPhone 6 and get that

I may go for the 4.7 inch ip8 as my contact end auguSt I can go sim only plan unless I don't mind go for no contract apple order but I bet telco sure out of stock one esp if ip8 is a overhaul models design so

If mArch apple show mentions of new iphone 5 SE with 128gb I will go hoot it sell off my 256gb ip7 and still left over $ to hoot 128gb ip5 SE and Apple Watch while wait for ip8 since my main phone is my 128gb ip7
