It’s doesn’t. But the % cash rebate is unlikely 6%
Nope not true. Been using it every month 6% is confirmed. This is unless you have payment yourself and you did not get 6% then you need to talk to ocbc on your scenario

Others spend. The ipaymy mcc code is 7399.

OCBC doesn't exclude 7399. And people tell you it's eligible from their experience but you still refuse to believe. I can tell you it's eligible online spend for OCBC Frank, don't believe then don't use.

Ok. I call ipaymy tomorrow to check
I think you might miss the point. you call ipaymy also no use, the t&c is set by ocbc not ipaymy. and this sort of MCC / merchant eligible anot is people try then know and from there confirm also, frank caps out at $416.66 spending it's not a huge amount for you to try yourself to know.

oh sorry I was trying to ask whether Frank would recognise cardup or ipaymy for both insurance and taxes for the 6% rebates. If not convenient to share openly can pm me 😬

and what's with the cap of $416.66?

For ipaymy yes for both insurance and taxes (all appear the same as ipaymy to ocbc). Cardup website say OCBC Frank no cashback for Cardup but I not sure about this.

Online cashback capped at $25, $25/6%=$416.66

I see.. thanks for the explanation.

cap is rather low... but then again can't expect much. for $25 per month not sure if it's worth getting a new card.

Frank needs $600 Min spending to get 6% cash rebate. Caps at $25

Hmmm, OCBC Frank a bit troublesome for me since most of my bill payments are online. Plus I am able to consolidate more online (bill) spending to nearly 1k. I guess I'll go with Maybank Platinum instead...

And if I'm not wrong, Maybank Platinum don't even need to use ipaymy for insurance right?

lol dun anyhow say lah. No one will actually try the card for 0.3%.
actually if ipaymy publicly posted frank is eligible, means 99.9% is correct. else they have to manually reverse the payment which caused more effort for them if customer complains
