I'm wondering if anyone has the experience that iPaymy charges your CC after you submitted the invoice to process the payment and iPaymy decides not to proceed to pay your supplier due to documentation issue. Will you get the full refund including the service fee back to your CC?

Manage to get on iPaymy live chat this afternoon and agent Judy mentioned that iPaymy rarely decides not to pay after charging CC. In the event that happens, they will refund the total amount debited from my CC. Initially she was not committal to my question on whether the refund to my CC would be total amount (payment amount+service fee) in the event iPaymy decides not to pay the invoice. Told her that it would be a violation of service agreement if they did not deliver the service (i.e. making payment against the invoice) and yet keep the service fee.

I've used ipaymy for over 40 payments without any issues.

Yes, I have been. I have actually checked with iPaymy before. They use 2 MCC codes for rents and other payment respectively. I only make invoice payments.

The official fee is 2.25%... But I usually receive promo codes that can go as low as 1.89%. I'm not sure what is the criteria as the 1.89% may not be open to all. On average, I think the rate is around 1.99% for the general promos.

And I find the payment lead time for iPaymy shorter than cardup. Not sure if cardup has upped the game bcos I have stopped using cardup for more than half a year.

Thanks. I use cardup to pay insurance premium and condo maintenance fees. Used to pay income tax but they stop for monthly payment. Worth me to check out ipaymy?

Any referral promo code?

I don't think there is promo code... but I can refer you and you will get the promotional rate of 1.3% (for the first transaction) I suppose. However, I will need your first and last name, email, business name and phone number. You can pm if you are keen.

hehe.. I think it is subjective... to me, a cent saved is a cent earned :). In any case, I welcome the competition between these providers. From the user experience wise, I don't see much differentiation between the 2... so I will strongly encourage you to try... or if you are worried, you can test water by paying a small amount using iPayMy first... that's what I did to find out if the BoC card works for me.

BTW, iPayMy also only allows a lump sum tax payment... I believe this was arising from complaints from IRAS :p
