Yes most of the apps are scaled to iPhone 12 Pro Max screen resolution. However, due to the smaller and taller notch on the iPhone 13s, some of the apps have to be updated again else they won’t be scaled properly.

haha... going with SO to queue at Gain City's launch since theirs is only reservation and not preorder, hence it's on first come first serve basis.
after that heading straight to MBS to catch my check-in window at 9am

on the Apple Store app, look for the order details of your iPhone order.
Under Pickup Instruction, select view in wallet, that is all they need to verify your check-in window
