Today Phone locked and screen off at around 3am at 85%. 530pm on phone to check screen to see battery at 80%.
drop of 5% overnight.
should i exchange my phone or??

Yes

1) latest ios
2) just did a force reboot as per your advice and also tried airplane mode with same timing as previous. Drop 3% overnight

My 13PM from launch still at 100% I use mixed charging. From 5W to 20W. I didn’t use wireless charging though.

Usually hold in hand or back pocket. But if wearing those PT shorts then totally cannot put in pocket lol

At first, coming from the iphone 12, the 13PM is super heavy but now after 2 mths already got used to it. I put it in my front pocket. I don't find it heavy anymore.

Upgraded to iOS15.2, finally a manual toggle for macro mode is available.

watch OS has this feature that u can do hand gesture, eg. clench fish, tap fingers. Maybe can try set one of the gesture to activate Apple pay in the Watch. Mine is Series 4 that doesnt support those feature :~(

watchOS 8.3 is here, more models support gestures, but I feel it is not intuitive yet.

12PM batter isn't that bad to be honest. i still can last one day in just one charge. But coming from 11PM and now 13PM, i would say 12PM battery is the poorest among these 3.

Having held all the PM's year after year, I also found that 12PM is the only one that consistently cannot last a typical day.

I had diagnostics run with the Apple store staff, which showed my usage to be consistently at around 125% of battery capacity, for a periodic battery health of 90%. MagSafe battery pack came to the rescue for the 25%, though any power bank would do as well.
