i realised every alternate iphone generation, the battery capacity drops from the previous. lol

Xs/Xs Max i remember the battery life quite cui (battery capacity dropped from previous)
11p/11pm were good batteries
12p/12pm were cui (battery capacity dropped from previous)
13p/13pm were good batteries
14p/14pm... ??? (battery capacity dropped from previous)

14pro got a increase from 13pro 3095 to now 3200. 14pro max dropped 29 only.

Yes good observation. Seems like the pattern is true. 12 series the battery cui like wth.

12 was a big drop. 12 pro lose 230mha and 12 pro max lose near 300mha. Crazy. That is why iphone 12 does not have good battery life.

My iPhone 12 battery is so atrocious. It dropped to 90% capacity after only about 10 months of use and I didn’t even abuse it with gaming and stuffs. It runs hot even with just shopee app. Nothing in background.

I remember selling my 11p to use 12p and regretted my decision. The 12p battery was just atrocious which made me almost wanna find back a bnib 11p.

Get HK set a bit exp, because Android phone have 2 physical SIM + eSim. where iphone only have esim and 1 physical sim.

Together with the initial $770 you are paying upfront & price difference between your contract plan vs the above mentioned sim-only plan for the span of 24 months, your phone will cost about $1538. Unless if you can find a 13 promax/256gb for below $1.5k, your contract line will be more worth it in terms of pricing.

But ultimately you lose out on more data, outgoing & sms/ month if you go with Mysim70. But since you are eyeing on the plan you mentioned, it must cater to your monthly needs.

When u sell your phone, an older model will also fetch lower resale - just take a look at the iPhone 13PM vs iPhone 12PM trade in price difference.
IMHO worthwhile to just get the latest. The telco subsidy for new iPhone is quite decent.

iPhone's depreciation is pretty constant. Successor will take Predecessor's price point after each release. Vice versa older models.

I saw online that some shops do this dual sim conversion mod.

But being said. Apple will probably void your existing warranty. As well as any repair support regardless if you have warranty or not.

You will probably be only to repair at HP shops and there is a likelihood they will choose to not touch your device as well. YMMV
