Once kena scammed by malware, can buy many many iPhone PM. So the TCO of an android phone is way too high. People just didn’t notice that.

anyway, looking to replace my XR with 15 this year.

Apple's specs bump have been consistently minimal over the years so I don't see a reason to upgrade every year haha. Unless you have so called "new-toy-syndrome."

I usually skip 2 releases. So probably iPhone 17 (or 18) next haha.

Plus if iPhone 15 is USB-C then It won't be favorable for me as I have an iPhone 8 Plus as secondary/work phone. Lazy lug around 2 type of cables around.

Yeah I understand. But iPhone trend over the years will usually have a similar design for at least 2 releases. So I am just "guessing" 15 will won't be a significant "black tech" upgrade.

eg:
XS Max / 11 Pro Max (Similar shaped, camera specs bump)
12 Pro Max / 13 Pro Max (Revamped flat edge design, camera specs bump)
14 Pro Max / [15 Pro Max?] (Dynamic island, AOD, camera specs bump, etc)

Remember back in the days we had the "S" model.
Apple seemed to just omitted the "S" but the trend still remains.

I feel iPhone 14 Pro Max battery ok .. maybe I’m a heavy user, but can’t hurt to get even bigger battery capacity!

indeed, I agree apple phone start from 13 pmx the battery si beh tok kong... let see 15 pmx lagi more tok kong or not.. now only rumours have to wait unitl the set come out then we know.. Now the main issue is the antena reception not as good as android.. hopefully improve a lot.

Battery life since iPhone 13 Pro Max is like god-tier but being heavy user I still can drain the phone quite easily. Actually I don’t understand, been using iPhone for so long, I don’t really face any signal problem leh. I mean if you’re still using those intel modem iPhones then yes, signal is pretty bad, but for those on Qualcomm chips like X60 on iPhone 13 Pro Max and X65 on iPhone 14 Pro Max. They are actually pretty good.
