I am impressed with my iPhone 18 Pro Max battery consumption after upgraded from 15 Pro.

I only charge to 80% max and everyday it's never dropped below 40% with normal usage.
Is it? My ip 18 pm has to charge every day though. I unlocked my phone alot and upload social media posts. At home i doom scroll.

Every day at 11pm it will roughly left 22 - 25% i will start.

So it differs from different people's use case to call it good I feel.

In fact comparing new and new I feel my iPhone 15 Pro max battery is way better during the first 1 - 2 months.

I only need to charge every 2 days once with almost the same usage habit.

80% charge has very marginal benefit (4%).

Actually I asked AI and this is his recommendation as compared to optimised charging.

I asked AI a lot of things and finally concluded that.

YouTube video just watched for entertainment can already, don't believe too much on those YouTubers

Maybe you need to check out with Apple cause the 15 n 18 technology is already 3 years difference and the battery capacity is about 1000mAH difference.

It's really doesn't make sense to me at all.

My 18 Pro Max always feel cool on the back as compared to my 15 Pro.

I also charge my 18 everyday maintaining it at 80% and when it's dropped below 30% not 20%, I will charged it.

But isn't it more healthy for the battery ?

Caused my IPhone 15 Pro left with 74% after 3 years of usage cause I never set max limit on my charging and just enabled the optimised charging.
Don't nerf 20% of your battery daily just to save 3-4% battery over 2-3 years. Even if need replace battery after 3 years, 100 bucks over 3 years is like less than 10 cents a day. No need to stress yourself.

If you nerf 20%, it's probably better to get the pro and pay for battery replacement and still save money.

you do know AI is depending on what was posted right. People have been saying to limit charge for years so AI will skew towards that.

But if it suits your usage, no need to change your way of doing things
