It won't go to -1nm or -2nm. after 2nm, the industry will likely move to 1.4nm, 1nm, and possibly other new naming conventions

micrometer (μm) -> nanometer (nm) -> picometer (pm)

but Intel is using the angstrom (A) measurement for their upcoming panther lake processors 18A (1.8nm).

load photos maybe difference not noticable.. but if you always take photos or videos, the nand flash will uplorry much faster compared to the 512GB model

From this news means 18 series will still have at least 1 physical sim. If only their Hong Kong sets will have dual physical sims. That would be great. Else have to continue using my Hong Kong physical dual sim 16 pro max till it dies.

Gone are the days of physical sim for my family.

I never look back with my pure e-sim Japan iPhone 17 Pro. Larger battery and seamless esim transfer, no need to deal with physical SIM. Apparently my whole family are strictly using eSIM only, no more physical SIM since 2024.

The only physical nano sim is my spare phone.

I never look back with my pure e-sim Japan iPhone 17 Pro. Larger battery and seamless esim transfer, no need to deal with physical. Apparently my whole family are strictly using eSIM only, no more physical SIM since 2024.

You don't change phones one ah? The only downside in SG's context is not having the seamless portability with eSIM as compared to physical SIM.
So having a physical slot + eSIM is pretty much preferable for me at least.

I do change phone usually every 2 years, just delete eSIM and reinstall back via the telco app or saved email eSIM QR code. If don't work just request new eSIM, since selected telco as of now is FOC.

I swap phones around maybe like once every few weeks. eSIM very troublesome and need to pay to activate. Hassle and waste money for me.
