iPhone 3GS stuck at activation screen

Hi there,

I have an iPhone 3GS.
Brought it to the mobile repair shop when it got stuck at the activation screen, and I couldn't do anything with it at home.

At the shop, the guy tried to fix it for me, but after 30mins, he gave it back to me, and said nothing to be done because it's an export set (?!?).

Is there anything else I can try, or anyone have any suggestions?

You need to get an unlock code to bypass the activation screen.
