iphone 4 blackscreen

Hi, I was using my iphone suddenly, my screen just faded off slowly, there was some blue lines after that. My phone can be on and off, but I cant see anything.
is this something to do with the lcd? if it is , isit expensive to get it replaced?

sounds like the whole lcd assembly spoil.

if u fix urself, the part alone is about $50

if u go outside, expect $150 and above.

no idea whats wrong, after 1 day, the battery sort of died out and the screen reappeared again when I tried to power on, I can see the no battery sign. trying to back up the phone now and ditch it aside.
