iPhone 5S screen popping out - options?

Hello guys, my iPhone 5S screen is popping out
Looking it replace it or get it fixed under authorised Apple service.

But the iPhone 5S is out of warranty already.

How much would it cost to get a refurbished set?

Just wanted to let you know that if your screen came off due to a swelling battery you should stop using it and have it serviced

My. Parent 5c also same issue too but when
I check the camera already expose to water suspect the screen pop out water vapor goes in
So I sold it off & hoot a used ip5 for parents temp
Until new iPhones lauch

I love the 5S and don't wanna upgrade it because the screen size is perfect for me.

A Labs or QCD is better in terms of service?

1 year le. Out of warranty. So sad I upgraded to ip6 but drop back to 5s as I prefer its design and size

You may wish to contact our Local Apple Phone's technical support in regards with your case. They will look and provide you with the best service option even your iDevice is slightly out of its initially 1 year Limited Warranty.

In your case, I'd believe the battery got bloated which resulted your screen to pop out.

If Apple is willing to make some leeway and service your iPhone 5S without any fee, QCD/A.Lab will replace a brand new Refurbished iPhone 5S, like to like model and similar Capacity.

(PS: AASP only repair battery (SUR) if the battery fail Apple GSX's diagnostic test, provided there's no sign of bloated battery.

AASP will only replaced the entire phone (WUR) if they deem the battery is bloated and may cause damage to other component.)

They demanded me to pay 450 for the replacement. I called Apple hotline and still no hope. Still have to pay 450 no matter what. This is shocking. I will buy AppleCare+ for my next iPhone no matter what. Now gotta sell this 5s away and use my iPhone 5

Applecaee is the way to go even its use for 1yr
Sammng Premium care is Lame
Pay for care but coverage not as good as apple

A lab quote and apple also. Say full amount too tjay why I sold it Away and go for a used iphone 5
Until end of yr then upgrades for new iphone and get Applecare + for my parent too

I have my iPhone 5 for 3 years already then I noticed that my battery got bloated also. Last year my GF has the same problem (she had her iPhone 5 for 2 years that time) so she went to A.Lab in Plaza Singapura to get it fixed. They replaced the whole unit with a new one free of charge.

I wonder if they will replace the unit free of charge for my case also.
