After selecting an app from the multi-tasking list, the top part of the screen will flash a little bit and then expand a little bit as if resizing to fit the screen size. It gets quite annoying. Anyone else facing the same problem?

I have already updated to 7.0.3. But the problem is still there :( Just wondering if others' phones are also the same or is it only me..

Greetings.

I think it is caused by the "moving wallpaper".

You can try to disable it.

General > Accessiblity > Reduce Motion > On

Hope it helps.

Cheers.

I just tried that. It still happens. The top part and bottom part of the screen at first won't be fully "covered" by the newly opened app. Then it'll flash a little and "stretch" a bit to fill the whole screen .

If you are really bothered with it, I suppose that the only way to solve is to go QCD or telecos to get your phone replaced with a refurbished set.

Cheers.

No point getting a new set.
The problem persists in all 5s sets, its a damn software issue. Such a problem isnt present in 5, 5C.

I also suspect that it's a software issue. Well, if it exists in all 5s sets, shall just wait for the next update ba.
