Anyone experience this loss of a few contacts, not all? My contact is linked to gmail contacts and it has disappeared from gmail contacts too.
It happened by itself a few times, but not recently.
I am afraid it might come back again. 1) Does Android hp experience this or is it only iPhone?

I read that it could be due to update. I don't buy iCloud to store my contacts beyond the 2gb free storage.
2) Is it contact app itself? If so, is there any other contact app I can use to avoid loss of contacts?
The free backup contact app I come across only saves 200 or limited contacts or up to 200 contacts.
3) Is there any other backup contact app that can save more than 200 contacts.
