Do you guys use the home button often? Or prefer to use the assistive touch instead? How durable is the home button? Can tahan for at least 2 years for normal usage without any issue?

Bro, If got issue, can go to exchange as the warranty covered this.

Done this before for my IP5.

Is not about issue with the home button.
Is a question on how long can the home button last?
So the answer is the home button may not last for one year :)

i tink the issue might not be the home button. ever since iphone 3/4 had the home button issue, apple sorta fixed it. i never had issues with my 4s and 5 home button. but the problem is the power button. after sometime it might get insensitive

5s here. home button still works like normal after 1 yr+. this kinda thing varies from user to user. it's like e keyboard on a notebook, I have users who mash e keyboards n their keys fade after a few months despite e notebook being a newly issued one or their keys junk up with grime n dirt. different users will have different usage patterns. :)

it's heng suay one. my iPhone 3G, which was supposed to have an easy to spoil home button lasted me 2-3 years with no loss in sensitivity. Helps that I've never dropped it. 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, all use home button with no issues.

But if i have any gripe, is that physically pressing a button is a bit annoying, especially one you have to press so many times throughout the day. would have love an accessibility feature where i can simply tap once on the touch ID to go home, and twice to get to recent apps without the need to depress the button. :/
