Stellar service

Met Jimmy@ MobileLite after work @ Jurong East. He was very patient. One of the best feeling TG protectors I have gotten installed. Also he managed to get a perfect fit at the first try itself.
Note: Before you go over to him, please check the case compatibility with him.

I saw a new ‘edge to edge’ screen protector being funded and contacted the team for a review unit. As they are finalizing the details of the product, they sent me a basic install kit and the screen protector. It’s pretty standard with dust removal stickers and microfiber cloth and alcohol swab.

The screen protector itself is very thin, supposedly only 0.2mm. The backing is an opaque piece of plastic; this makes installing using the ‘hinge’ method very difficult. I went ahead and did it the regular way. (The pull-tab was not sticky enough to get the backing off the protector. I had to use my nails to rip them apart. I do suppose this issue will be fixed in the official release)

Aligning it wasn’t too difficult, although I did go slightly off center. As with all glass screen protectors, I did not want to lift it after pushing down on the screen. The manufacturers do claim that it can be lifted and readjusted.

The hardest part of the install was getting rid of the bubbles. I spent a good 10 minutes with a pen and the microfiber cloth wrapped around it while I worked the bubbles out. I am glad to say that they do eventually all go away and what I got was the best screen protector I’ve used for the iPhone 6.

As you can see, the glass actually does curve over the edge. If I am being picky, there is still a tiny amount of room to spare but that could lead to incompatibility issues with some cases and it would make it more difficult to align. So it is not absolutely perfect, but it is very, very close to being there.

The glass is extremely clear and smooth. Despite my hard rubbing with the microfiber cloth, the oleophobic coating remains buttery and does not appear to have been affected. How long it lasts remains to be seen.

The curved edges too are extremely smooth and very nice to the touch. Combined with the thinness, it makes pressing the home button very pleasurable and it certainly feels like there is truly nothing on the screen.

There is a slight chip in the piece I received. Again, I suppose it is a first batch issue and would be resolved when it officially starts shipping.

This is all in all a fantastic screen protector. Crowdfunding is now happening on indiegogo and early bird prices make this a no brainer.

Just found quite good full screen tempered glass at plaza sing in front of KFC. Will try to send the snapshot :) this one also no brand. And the lady pasting skill is very good I can say. Can fit apple leather case. Never try other casing.

This evening just got myself the Spigen Glas.tr slim together with the tough armour case for my 6+. So far it's an awesome combo! :D

Just got this privacy full coverage for my iPhone 6. Privacy works well and it's full coverage so i love it. Only problem will be that the glass is little too thick so sometimes the screen is unresponsive but all in all, good stuff. And quite cheap also, so no complains.
