i think im noob. the surface shield was insanely difficult to apply. nuked both pieces and threw both away. used the cutout for the speaker and flash as guide but it seems like they were off and the whole thing is just misaligned and was blocking the sim tray.

Dataflex was bad for me. Paid so much for it and i had to replace it in less than a week because it has this weird rainbow pattern when under florescent light

Mine for iPad mini also had rainbow pattern. Never buy dataflex since than.

I am going to use a case on top of the back protector? will the healing shield make it too thick to use a case?

I dun really mind abit of bubbles for the back but if you say the cutouts are misaligned, that's bad, real bad.

if i align the flash and microphone exactly, the cutout for the camera was off. so i decided to align using the camera instead. and the sim tray gets blocked. -_-

Sim tray is quite far away from the screen leh. The misalignment is so bad? Or you paste crooked?

Tbh, I think for those looking for clear SP don't have to apply SP leh. The current screen is alr pretty scratch proof and has a better later of oleophobic coating as compared to most of those SPs out there.

But again, most people I know also paste SP for shiok only, every few weeks change that kind. Haha.

wah, like that jialat, I order 2 pcs already. No wonder the seller ship so fast. Take money first. -_-

Like that means must put sim card in then can apply. For me, I dun care whether it looks nice or not, if it affects functionality, thats a no go.

I getting the back protector cos my previous phone even with case on, the back get scratched. In fact with the case I think the dirt get trapped at the back and scratch it even more. Bring go and trade in they say must deduct because of scratches at the back. :s8: and iphones are unibody unlike samsung which can take out the cover and replace, so better take care from the start.

Its the back shield. Yes supposed to cover the curved sides as well maybe the rest of you would have better luck with it. I guess if it was wet apply it would've been easier

I've got two more plastic film type protectors on the way. Guess I'll just use those instead
